Second announcement: Miniworkshop of Algebra_January

The purpose of this workshop is to bring together experts in algebra and algebraic geometry to present their recent research works. Each speaker will give a series of talks with 100 minutes to 150 minutes. Each series talk will begin from a rather general context and then lead to research front through concrete examples. It is unnecessary that the audience should have acquired some working experience of the topics of the talks. All mathematicians are welcome to this workshop. Graduate students are encouraged to participate in, at least, the first talk of each series talk to get some taste of current research problems in algebra and algebraic geometry. link

The 2nd TIMS-OCAMI Joint International Workshop on Differential Geometry and Geometric Analysis

This workshop is organized as a project under the agreement of academic cooperation between Osaka City University Advanced Mathematical Institute (OCAMI) and Taida Institute for Mathematical Sciences (TIMS). The first TIMS-OCAMI joint international workshop on Differentail Geometry and Geometric Analysis has been held in OCAMI, Japan, 2009. The mission of the joint work shop is to foster interactions among researchers from Taiwan and Japan that are interested in areas to geometry. (Link)
